Slow Food Lancashire -  promoting a great way to live and eat

Slow Food is a global, grassroots movement with thousands of members that links the pleasure of food with a commitment to community and the environment. It works to build links between producers and consumers.

The international Slow Food movement was born in Italy 25 years ago and has become a global network that works to help ensure good, clean and fair food for everyone. Our initiatives range from community activities organised by local groups, to larger projects, campaigns and events coordinated by Slow Food's national offices and international HQ. We are a non-profit member-supported association who work on local and global levels.

The Slow Food Lancashire group has recently reformed and we'd love to welcome you to our growing network of highly valued, volunteer members conveying the Slow Food ethos.

Our activities include: taste workshops, farm visits, social meals, film screenings, markets and festivals, educational projects and much more.

There are various membership options for you to choose from, starting from just £1 per month, and whichever one you choose, it would be a great help to our work. You can find out about the various membership options here.
